Sebastian Stan slams Prez Donald Trump at Cannes, warns US is in a "really bad place"
Sebastian Stan has hit out against US President Donald Trump and his presidency while promoting his new film ‘Fjord’ at Cannes 2026.
The actor spoke out while reflecting on previously portraying Donald Trump in ‘The Apprentice’ and pushed back against nervous laughter from reporters, saying the current political climate in the United States was “not a laughing matter.” Stan went on to describe America as being in a “really, really bad place,” pointing to growing concerns around media pressure, censorship, and alleged political threats before stating that the US is now in a "really, really bad place".
