Elliot Page is finally reacting to the influx of hate he's received over the past few weeks over his casting in Christopher Nolan's 'The Odyssey.' The backlash first ignited after false rumors of Page playing Achilles were spread on the internet. Prominent figures including Elon Musk slammed the casting choice, claiming Page won't be able to play the character because of his transgender identity. But it was later revealed that Page is actually cast as Sinon, a Greek soldier and relative of Odysseus. Elliot Page publicly came out as transgender and non-binary in December 2020, revealing he now goes by the pronouns he/they.
