Jax Taylor ended Season 8 of 'Vanderpump Rules' by getting into a huge fight with his boss, Lisa Vanderpump. During their fight, he declared the show as his show, which left Lisa fuming. The former 'Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' star then corrected him by pointing out that it was her show. Needless to say, season 8 ended on a rather dramatic note.

While fans eagerly waited for Season 9 to see how Jax would manage to get out of the sticky situation he got himself into, the show's filming was put on hold due to COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, fans might never get their answer. On Friday evening, Jax took to his Instagram to announce that he wouldn't be returning to the hit reality show. He teased the followers by sharing that his wife Brittany Cartwright and he have 'new endeavors' that they can't wait to share. He then thanked his fellow cast members and fans for all the love and support.

"The last 8 years on Vanderpump Rules have been some of the most challenging, rewarding, and fulfilling years of my life. Although this is difficult to share, Brittany and I will not be returning for another season of Vanderpump Rules. We are excited to take this time to focus on our growing family and share with you our new endeavors. @bravotv, @evolutionusa and our Vanderpump castmates will always remain close to our hearts. Thank you to all the fans who have shared our journey with us and supported us through everything. We love you. Stay tuned, We can’t wait to share what we have planned. Have a great weekend. 💟," posted the reality star.

His wife, Brittany too posted a similar message on her Instagram account. Bravo soon confirmed the news that Jax and Brittany wouldn't be returning to the show. When fans heard about the news of Jax and Brittany's exit from the show, they were beyond thrilled. A fan tweeted, "Ahh goodbye Jax and Brittany you guys will not be missed #PumpRules." "Jax getting fired might make this the best day of 2020... ...and I say that on the day I was supposed to get married  (#covid) #PumpRules," wrote a fan. "Jax Taylor was fired. 2020 ending on a good note. #PumpRules," declared a fan.

Although neither Jax nor Brittany mentioned anything about being fired from the show, many fans are convinced that they were fired, as several reports began reporting that the reality stars were shown the door by the network and the production house. Jax has been on 'Vanderpump Rules' since its inception in 2013, while Brittany joined the show during season 5. A fan commented, "Yep...@BNCartwright made it seem like they were quitting on Instagram. VPR canned their sorry a**es. Now that POS Jax and kiss a** Brittany are gone I will watch it again!! #byebyeJax #goodriddance #itsabouttime #vanderpumprules #PumpRules." "Jax taylor getting fired from vanderpump rules getting fired is my 3rd favorite thing to happen this year behind biden getting elected and taylor dropping folklore. #pumprules," joked a fan.
