SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH: The world of skateboarding is going to alter dramatically. VibeRide created the world's first skateboard braking system via clever engineering and smart marketing.

VibeRide, a pioneering firm founded in the gorgeous mountains of Utah, has taken the skateboarding world by storm with its breakthrough longboard braking system. In the fast-paced world of extreme sports, innovation is essential for pushing limits and increasing excitement.

VibeRide, founded by young entrepreneurs Carson Macdonald, Charlie Cannon, and Chris Goodhue, is slated to create headlines on the upcoming episode of 'Shark Tank', which airs on January 12, 2024.

What is VibeRide?

VibeRide's origin began in a college dorm room, inspired by the founders' love of skating and a desire to overcome the difficult downhill terrains surrounding their Utah base. The company's beginnings can be traced back to 1999, when Brakeboard, an Australian business, released the world's first commercial longboard brake after years of hard work.

Fast-forward to 2023, and VibeRide emerges as a new industry power, having bought Brakeboard's designs and patents to improve the ground-breaking Rat Brake.

VibeRide's engineers spent three years meticulously researching and developing the Rat Brake into the cutting-edge VibeRide Skate Brake™. With a 30% decrease in part count, improved performance, and the removal of overheating concerns, VibeRide's innovation is poised to revolutionize skateboarding safety and control.

The brake system, which includes small disc brakes with ceramic discs derived from genuine automobile factories, gives skateboarders a new sensation of control while eliminating the need for the usual foot-braking approach.

The VibeRide braking system, which was shown at the Outdoor Retail Expo, earned over $50,000 in sales within the first few months. VibeRide's TikTok channel, @viberide.co, as well as collaborations with well-known skating sites such as Braille Skating, are fast extending the company's audience.

The founders believe this product is ideal for Utah, with its hills and canyon routes. Cannon feels that the skateboard brake is ideal for the state's distinctive topography, providing skaters with access to new rides and experiences.

Who are the founders of VibeRide?

Charlie, Carson, and Chris were University of Utah students who came up with the concept to construct a longboard brake and spent several years conducting research and development before gaining the design and patent for Brakeboard, an earlier braking system.

After obtaining the patent, the team began the process of altering, upgrading, and improving the design, and VibeRide just released the completed product.

Before brakes, Charlie told the Valley Journals, he was constantly wearing the soles of his shoes while attempting to stop his board on the steep slopes near the campus. However, the skate brake is a life-changing (and shoe-saving) gadget that can be fitted on any board or purchased pre-installed.

Charlie, one of the founders and a serial entrepreneur, brings his expertise with the successful sale of EXO Drones to the table. At the age of 23, Charlie is not your typical entrepreneur.

Charlie worked as a freelance Video Producer for two years after graduating from the University of Utah with a degree in entrepreneurship.

His transition from extreme skier to creator of EXO Drones, a multimillion-dollar corporation, demonstrates his Gen-Z understanding of the internet and social media. Charlie's most recent endeavor, VibeRide, is supported by six patents for skateboard brakes, paving the way for a future industry revolution.

Charlie, a former Sandy inhabitant, is accustomed to success. During COVID, he founded EXO Drones and earned millions of dollars before selling the firm.

Using the profits from the sale, he co-founded VibeRide with Carson, Chris, and Australian partner Alex Beveridge, and they're all on a roll. The brake system was a smash at this year's Outdoor Retail Expo, and the firm generated more than $50,000 in sales within the first few months.

Carson graduated from Dixie High School with a mechanical engineering degree and went on to work as a metal fabricator for Design To Print.

He then worked with Arc N Spark Design before joining the Fabrication and Design team at AK Masonry & Concrete. He is presently the Operations Manager of VibeRide.

Besides being one of the co-founders, Chris is also an editor and producer.

What is the cost and how to buy VibeRide?

The firm sells exclusively through its website. They utilize social media profiles to generate interest in their products.

A brake-equipped longboard costs $249. They also sell brakes for connecting to your own board for $169, claiming that they work with 99% of longboard deck varieties.

A brake-equipped, electric longboard priced at $499 and a selection of branded clothes round out their options.

Where is VibeRide now?

Rumors of an unknown investment from a well-known investor heighten the enthusiasm for VibeRide's future.

The VibeRide TikTok channel @viberide.co has videos demonstrating the brake's efficacy and ease of use, and the brand is swiftly gaining popularity. Cannon was recently approached to create a YouTube video for Braille Skateboarding, which has approximately 6 million followers.

The skating world is anxiously anticipating the outcome of VibeRide's appearance on 'Shark Tank'. VibeRide, with an original product, a committed staff, and a visionary leader in Charlie, has not only created the world's first skateboard brake, but has also paved the way for a possible revolution in the skating business.

Only time will tell if VibeiRde's trip is a dangerous bet or the next great thing, but it is surely worth watching. Visit VibeRide.com to learn more about this game-changing breakthrough.

Who will steal the deal?

This business might strike a deal with Mark Cuban this week. Mark admires new entrepreneurs with drive and enthusiasm.

He also enjoys sales, and Charlie is a proven success story, having built a $15 million firm while still in college.

What makes us believe they have a contract with Mark? All the guys' LinkedIn accounts follow Mark, and they informed a reporter that they have "an undisclosed investment from a renowned investor."

They described it as a "handshake deal" with specifics to be released in early 2024. Bet the business on a deal with Mark.
