Almost every cast member of the show has at some point introduced the audience to their family and explained how important they were even if they didn't share the best relationship with each other. From Momma Dee playing a key role in her son- Young Scrappy's personal life and career to Apryl Jones working hard toward fixing her strained relationship with her mother, we have seen it all on the popular reality show. So, what better way to celebrate the bond between the families than to create a special limited series revolving around the cast members and their families? So in comes the newest offering from VH1 'Family Reunion- Love & Hip Hop Edition'. Read on to know all about this series.

'VH1 Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition' is all set to premiere on Monday, February 8, at 8/7c only on VH1. Following the premiere, you can catch all-new episodes of the six-part special, every Monday at 8/7c only on VH1. 

Plot

For the first time ever, the cast members across all 'Love & Hip Hop' franchises (Atlanta, New York, Miami, Hollywood) will be coming together under one roof as they discuss various topics such as family, relationships, BLM Movement, entrepreneurship, etc. The network describes the show as, "For the first time ever, cast members from all four Love & Hip Hop cities will come together in person for VH1’s new limited series Family Reunion: Love & Hip Hop Edition. With 2020 being a year of turmoil for the community, fan-favorites unite for an outrageous action-packed gathering to celebrate #BlackJoy and resilience while creating new traditions..The six-part series will touch on relevant topics including hip-hop, marriage and divorce, healing broken families, entrepreneurship and the BLM movement."

Cast

The cast includes 'Love & Hip Hop’s' Apryl, Bambi, Erica Dixon, Fizz, Karlie Redd, Momma Dee, Mendeecees, Ray J, Scrappy, Trick Daddy, Trina, Sierra, Yandy Smith, and Yung Joc with special appearances by Tamika D Mallory, social justice leader and co-founder of social justice organization Until Freedom and hip-hop artist and activist Mysonne.
