Veteran cop may lose her job for breaking wind on duty and repeatedly using the C-word
A senior detective may lose her job for farting on duty and asking a junior officer if he wanted to go out with a "fatter, ugly, older woman." The officer was also reported for excessively using the C-word at the workplace, which she claimed was part of their "culture of banter."
The 44-year-old Detective Constable Claire Fitzpatrick has been accused of repeatedly using the C-word and telling one motorist he was "driving like a c***," according to a Daily Mail report. At a misconduct hearing, Fitzpatrick claimed her antics were part of a "culture of banter" in the police station she works at in Bedwas, South Wales.
While fighting to retain her job, she also admitted she would often speak in silly voices "like the character Borat" and would frequently use the phrase "Rather out than in" in conversation with her colleagues.
