In today's world, you can find everything on the internet. A quick Google search or a scroll through someone's social media profiles will give you more than enough information about the person you are interested in finding information about.

So, on the latest episode of 'Vanderpump Rules', when Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright keep claiming that they had no knowledge their pastor made some extremely disgusting comments displaying his homophobia, fans had a tough time believing them.

Brittany came up with the time-old excuse of the pastor being her family friend and that she had no knowledge of his beliefs as her defense when questioned why the couple hired a homophobic priest to officiate their wedding.

Jax didn’t even care enough to defend himself. He just kept dismissing questions about why they hired a homophobic person as their pastor. In fact, we hear him say that he couldn’t care less what a person believes in as long as they don’t put it on social media.

He cites an example of a person "believing and worshipping a cow", saying that he wouldn't give "sh*t about it" because it doesn't affect his life.

Considering Jax’s homophobic stance, it doesn’t come as a surprise that he doesn’t care about it. He compares the situation of everyone charging at Brittany and him for hiring a homophobic priest to officiate their wedding to people perceiving it as him attending a KKK rally!

The other cast members too reveal in their green room interviews and their conversations with one another that the information about Jax and Brittany's pastor's homophobic comments came to light six months ago, yet they did nothing about it.

Later in the episode, we see Tom Sandoval also sharing that Jax, Brittany and he have been tagged on several social media posts referencing the homophobic pastor's scathing statements.

The couple still continues feigning ignorance, until Brittany in the end budges and reveals that she saw one comment about it, and that’s all.

Fans are having a tough time believing the couple's flimsy excuse of not knowing about their pastor's beliefs when it is public knowledge and plastered all over social media.

A fan tweeted, "How can Brit say I saw 1 comment but he is not homophobic. NO. #PumpRules." Another fan questioned, "How can a pastor vocalize those blatant feelings on social media (multiple times) then turn around and say 'he doesn’t actually feel that way' and you just believe him?! Come on. #ashamed #PumpRules."

Another fan expressed, "Brittany full of sh*t she knew how he was she just don't give a damn. Brittany still defends the pastor that tells alot #PumpRules #VanderpumpRules."

"Of course Brittany and Jax knew their pastor was homophobic, they just didn’t care because it didn’t affect them #PumpRules," pointed out another fan.

Do you think Jax and Brittany knew about their pastor's beliefs but just chose to turn a blind eye, or they really didn't know about it? Let us know.
