Kristen Doute and her ex-boyfriend Brian Carter’s relationship is raising red flags not just amongst her friends but also fans. The latest episode of ‘Vanderpump Rules’ saw Kristen being her usual vulnerable and indecisive self until Jax Taylor steps in and takes charge of the situation.

When Carter tries to wriggle his way back into the reality star’s life, Jax firmly asks him to stay away from her and let her be. Carter then reveals that he texted Kristen who would she turn to if she needs anything, and slowly managed to reel her back into their toxic relationship. After hearing this, Jax points out that it was an awful thing to say to Kristen and assures him that he and her other friends would step in to take care of her.

Unfortunately, this isn’t the first time we are seeing Carter be so terrible to Kristen. In the previous episode, we saw him proudly telling Lala that Kristen always turned to him when she needed anything and reminds Lala that Kristen isn’t as innocent as she appears to be. The way Carter acts around Kristen and speaks about her has fans convinced that he might be “manipulating” her.

A fan tweeted, “I'm not a fan of Carter. It feels like he's twisting and manipulating Kristen because she's so vulnerable and he doesn't wanna lose his meal ticket. #PumpRules.”

Another fan wrote, “Carter is clearly manipulative. Kristen needs to work things out on her own. NO ONE is listening to what Kristen is saying that she just NEEDS her friends to support her NOT her relationship. #PumpRules.”

“Kristen is clearly lying to everyone but most importantly she’s lying the most to herself. And the letting her friends be the fall guys. But Carter. That’s a manipulative asshole. #PumpRules,” pointed out a fan.

“Carter is so gross. To say no one will be there for you when I leave is straight up manipulative and borderline mental abuse. What a garbage human being. #pumprules,” expressed a fan.

Another fan shared, “Carter is always whispering shit into Kristen's ear...that's so creepy & manipulative. #PumpRules.” “Dude @mrjaxtaylor is right. Carter said he texts Kristen, “who are you gonna call when you need something?” Totally manipulating her. Let her move on. #PumpRules @BravoTV @BravoWWHL,” observed a fan.
