Vanessa Bryant hasn't been sleeping after Kobe, Gianna's death, says source: 'She is worried about her girls'
Vanessa Bryant is slowly "processing" her grief after the unexpected deaths of her husband Kobe Bryant and daughter Gianna Bryant in a tragic helicopter crash on January 26. The chopper crash claimed the lives of seven people along with Kobe and Gianna.
According to People, a source shared, "The shock hasn’t entirely worn off. She’s very tired; she hasn’t been sleeping. She’s worried about her girls, worried about what happens next." Ever since the crash, Vanessa has been surrounded by tributes that people have paid to Kobe and Gianna.
The insider shared, "Every memorial means something to her. Every memorial is important." The source also said that Vanessa has a very strong support system who has been helping her get through her difficult days. "She’s got people around her who are helping her physically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally," the source added. "She has spent the last week surrounded by people who love her and want only the best for her. She’s really being loved and cared for and so are the girls," the source continued.
Vanessa had broken her silence for the first time last week where she told fans and followers that she is 'devastated' over the loss of her 'adoring' husband and their 'sweet' daughter Gianna. "My girls and I want to thank the millions of people who’ve shown support and love during this horrific time. Thank you for all the prayers," Vanessa had written.
She recently paid an emotional tribute to Kobe and Gianna on her Instagram. We had previously reported that Vanessa shared a picture of what looks to be a tribute held in honor of Gianna at her middle school. In the picture that had been taken from the school's gym, a bouquet of heart-shaped balloons can be seen placed next to a table with a red and pink flower arrangement that reads the name 'Gianna'.
The tribute also had a red floral arrangement of the number 2 jersey that Gianna had proudly worn while playing for the Mamba Sports Academy.
