While millions of Americans will be watching news channels and browsing through websites to understand what's happening around them on election night, ever wondered what President Donald Trump might be doing at that time? In case you were wondering about Trump's plans for the evening of November 3, then read on to know all about it.

Trump campaign initially had a grand plan of hosting an exclusive viewing party for some select guests at Trump International, a luxury hotel owned by Trump in Washington DC. Trump's team was so excited about the party that they even sent out fundraiser emails to their donors, stating that in a lucky draw, one of the donors would be picked as a winner and get a chance to be flown down to Washington DC along with a guest, and stay for free and attend the exclusive election night party at Trump International as VIPs. "November 3rd will go down in history as the night we won FOUR MORE YEARS," the email read. "It will be absolutely EPIC, and the only thing that could make it better is having YOU there," reads the email

Unfortunately, the strict coronavirus restrictions imposed by Washington mayor Muriel Bowser prevented Trump from executing his grand plan. According to Washington DC's, regulations, gatherings of more than 50 people indoors are prohibited to curb the spread of the dreaded Covid-19. So, Trump's team had no choice but to move their election night party elsewhere. In an interview with Fox and Friends on Friday morning, Eric Trump revealed that they were thinking of moving the party to the White House. He said, "We’re thinking about moving it, actually, over to the White House. It’s going to be a really, really beautiful night."

Trump will reportedly be spending the evening of November 3 at the White House and is expected to host a viewing party in the East Room of the executive mansion. 400 guests are expected to attend the party, all of whom will be screened for Covid-19. Despite constant warnings from health officials about the risks of large gatherings during the pandemic, Trump has repeatedly flouted them and continued to gather large groups of people together for campaign rallies and events at the White House.

On September 26, Trump hosted a big White House gathering for the Supreme Court nomination of Amy Coney Barrett at the Rose Garden. Unfortunately, a number of guests who attended the event tested positive for Covid-19, leading to a significant rise in the number of confirmed positive cases. Dr Anthony Fauci called the event a "super-spreader event".

Irrespective of whether Trump remains at the White House on election night or at the Trump International Hotel, the Republican president will definitely take to his Twitter page to tweet his two cents on the election results and probably even claim an early victory.
