'Ultimate Tag' Episode 2: Fans are loving parkour prodigy The Kid as he zips across the arena
'Ultimate Tag' boasts of some of the finest runners from across the States, but fans tonight were especially enamored by 'The Kid,' who made his first appearance this episode when teaming up with the Iron Giantess for the women's Dodge Tag round.
The Kid's nearly effortless speed made it look like he was gliding across the arena as he tagged one contestant after another and his prowess did not go unnoticed by the fans. "The Kid was way to fast," wrote a fan online. "The Kid may be just a kid, but he's dangerous!" wrote another. "The kid is special af," said a third. "OH, THE PEEKABOO MANEUVER BY THE KID!!!" noted another as The Kid messed with the contestants' heads.
The Kid took a bit of a hit during Dodge Tag, being knocked down by Alikona. However, he kept his head and managed to tag her regardless. "Alikona bowled over The Kid. That dude is just a kid. Unfortunately, it's not enough for her to move on," noted a fan. The Kid is built for speed, not for throwdowns. The Iron Giantiess - his partner for Dodge tag - is definitely built for a throwdown, making the two a dangerous pair, as this fan noted: "Iron Giantess and The Kid really DO make the ultimate pair."
He returned in Revenge Tag, then once more in the final showdown, pushing the contestants to their limits and some of the fans have already declared him their favorite. "My family all said their favorite tagger was the kid. great minds think alike," wrote a fan. "The kid seems to be at home lol," said another viewer, noting how comfortable he seemed to be in the arena. "I’m adopting The Kid. It’s been decided, he’s my child now," declared one fan, also noting, "The Kid is ADORABLE"
It's not just online - The Kid had his share of fans in the arena as well, with one poster seen asking The Kid out to prom. The Kid may not have time for that, though, as he needs to keep in shape for next week's episode.
