LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: UFC fighter Jeff Molina has revealed that he is bisexual following the leak of a video of him engaging in sexual acts with another man on social media. While netizens felt sad for the fighter, as his privacy was stolen from him, they were also "proud" of Jeff and ask him to stay strong in his life.

The fighter took to Twitter and released a statement about his identity, as he wrote, "Welp.. this f***ing sucks. Not the way I wanted to do this but the chance to do it when I was ready was taken from me. I've tried to keep my dating life private from social media."

'Suppressed feelings'

The fighter said he "dated girls my whole life" but felt supressed. "Suppressed feelings I had throughout high school being on the wrestling team, throughout college pursuing MMA, and even after making part of the dream happen and getting into the UFC," he said.

Jeff further added, "I'm a pretty masculine dude and that bro-y banter and sus sense of humor has always been how I am. "The thought of my buddies, team-mates and [people] I look up to looking at me different - let alone treating me different - for something I can't control was something I couldn't fathom. In a sport like this where a majority of the fans being the homophobic cocksuckers they are I didn't see myself doing this during this part of my career. I wanted to be known for my skills and what I've dedicated the last 11 years of my life to and not the 'bi UFC fighter' that I'm sure would be translated to 'gay UFC fighter. To the awful disturbed person that decided to post this, I hope it was worth it."

At the end Jeff wrote, "At the end of the day I know my character, morals, and who I am as a person. As much as I'm getting hated on I'm getting an equal amount of support."

'Fu** the haters'

The post was bombarded with comments and support from netizens across the globe. As one of the users felt terrible for Jeff and wrote, "Saddens me that you weren't able to do this on your own terms, horrible thing for that person to do, but you know who you are and I'm sure this will resonate with someone going through the same thing in the MMA space. Thanks for even sharing."

Another user wrote, "The real ones don't care man. Be happy with you and the rest will fall into place. Glad you can finally get it off ya chest. Fu** the haters."' The third user shamed the person who leaked his private video and wrote, "Whoever did this to you should be ashamed of themselves. Private life should stay private unless someone is ready to bring it public. We don't know each other in person, but fwiw I'm very proud of you. Much love from Italy, Jeff."

The fourth user wrote, "Trolls are the worst to take your lowest moments and make it the highlight of their day. Keep moving forward people will forget or just not care over time. I hope you find your peace with this brotha."
