LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Turtles All the Way Down' is streaming on Max from May 2, 2024, and it tells the story of Aza Holmes (Isabela Merced), a young girl with a mental illness who tries to control her invasive thoughts while navigating life as a daughter and solving a mystery. 

Directed by Hannah Marks, who also stars in the role of Holly, the movie is adapted from the book of the same name by John Green. The plot revolves around a fugitive billionaire and Aza Holmes trying to get to him.

Isabela Merced is an American actress and singer who hails from Cleveland, Ohio and was born to a Peruvian family 

She is known most for her roles in films like 'Transformers: The Last Knight', 'Sicario 2: Soldado', and 'Instant Family' and the Nickelodeon television series '100 Things to Do Before High School'

She has been acting from a very young age and made her Broadway debut at the age of 10. Her first film was 'The House That Jack Built' (2013). She played the lead role in the film 'Dora and the Lost City of Gold' (2019).

Hannah Marks is an actor and filmmaker who is known for her film 'After Everything' which won rave reviews at film festivals. In 2017, Hannah was named among Rolling Stone's '25 under 25 Artists Changing the World' 

As an actor, she played the main lead in 'Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency' in 2016, and in 2018, her short film 'BearGirl'  was a finalist for Sundance Ignite. 

She has also worked in Necessary Roughness in 2011 and  Weeds in 2005, both of which won great acclaim at international awards.
