Trump's MAGA slogan slammed after Tulsa rally, people say he had 4 years but he 'made America worse again'
President Donald Trump organized a rally in Tulsa with the hope of delivering a rousing speech to his supporters in Oklahoma on June 20. The Trump management was happy to see that over a million people had sent an RSVP for the event but when it was time for the rally to start, the turnout wasn't even half of what they had expected. It was revealed that less than 20,000 people had shown up for the event. With a lot of empty seats in the arena, some wondered if it was the end of Trump's administration. Meanwhile, others were not happy to see how his supporters had arrived at the rally without wearing any masks or taking any precautions to ensure theirs and others' safety while the nation is grappling with the coronavirus pandemic.
Despite the initial setbacks, Trump delivered his speech and kept emphasizing on the fact of how that he had made America a better place during his tenure and how he plans to do the same if he is re-elected. Meanwhile, he did not hesitate in making it clear how he is better than his opponent, Joe Biden. Taking to Twitter, Trump wrote, "Joe Biden’s record can be summed up as 4 decades of betrayal, calamity, and failure — he NEVER did ANYTHING!"
He also explained as to why the US has more number of coronavirus cases. Trump explained that the country has been conducting more tests than the rest of the world and this had led him to decide how it would be better to slow down these testings. His speech gave rise to many people questioning Trump what he had done during his time in the White House. Many were quick to point out how the country had not benefited by having him as the president. "40,000,000 Americans unemployed. 2,330,000 Americans with COVID-19. 121,000 Americans dead from C19. The highest number of mass killings on record in 2019. 2020 is on track to be the hottest year ever recorded this what you meant by Make America Great Again?" said one user.
"Still rolling with the ‘make America great again’ slogan... You’ve been in office over 3 years, shouldn’t it be at least better than before not miles worse? Show the empty side of the arena," said another. "For someone who claims they wanted to make America great again, sure made it way worse and f**ked up than it already was lol," a third noted.
