Trump backers hold prayer rally outside Walter Reed for POTUS recovery, Internet says ‘our hero, man of steel’

Videos on Twitter showed a jam-packed rally outside the facility where many were holding phone torches, national flags and Trump-Pence posters

President Donald Trump is gaining huge support from people after contracting Covid-19. It was visible from a “prayer rally” that was organized outside Walter Reed National Military Medical Center on Saturday, October 3. As per Breitbart News, the rally was organized by FreedomWorks, a conservative and libertarian advocacy group and other activists.

They hosted a “Get Well Soon Mr President” prayer rally outside the gates of Walter Reed National Military Medical Center, Gate 2, on Wisconsin Avenue, in Washington DC, at 7 pm on Saturday. The POTUS has to stay at the medical facility as he has been tested positive for the virus. The White House earlier said that the president would continue to work from the hospital’s presidential suite which is well maintained to allow him to fulfil his official duties. Previously, we reported that following White House physician Dr Sean P Conley's advice, Trump has started taking Remdesivir and he "did not need supplemental oxygen". He was doing well on Saturday after following the prescription.

As soon as the “prayer rally” was launched to wish for Trump's speedy recovery and good health, people started to flood social media with footages. Videos on Twitter showed a jam-packed rally at night outside the facility with many holding phone torches. Some were seen holding the national flags and Trump-Pence posters. Many were wearing red MAGA caps and chanting slogans in support of the POTUS.

A user tweeted, “God Bless America God Bless you POTUS and FLOTUS. My prayers continue all the time until you are back in your proper place leading the USA . Rally will go to you our HERO you are our man of STEEL our National Treasure worth more than your weight in gold!” Others wrote, “A Prayer Rally is developing as we speak outside of Walter Reed. Your supporters brought the rally to you, Mr President.! WE LOVE YOU!” Another concurred, “Prayer rally for the POTUS outside Walter Reed Hospital Can I get an amen?”

Those who could not be a part of the rally were also in good spirits. A user wrote: “Jeanne, Thanks so much for bringing this live stream of the prayer rally for President Trump to Richard's feed. I am in the Midwest and couldn't be there, but I am there in spirit!” Some called the event amazing, “WOW! Then you contrast that with the Trump prayer vigil/rally at Walter Reed, and they are singing hymns, praying for POTUS, Honking horns, and waving flags. No fires, No profanity, No beating people up, No looting, Just amazing!”
