President Donald Trump's eldest son, Donald Trump Jr, on Sunday, shared a picture of himself holding an AR-15 rifle, which had a graphic of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton behind bars painted on its magazine. The picture shows him smiling as he brandishes the firearm, including a magazine featuring the drawing of the former first lady and his father's 2016 political rival.

The president's son also posted multiple close-up pictures of the rifle, which also had the US flag made on it with a label reading: "Made in USA." The firearm also featured a medieval knight's helmet with a Crusader cross above the magazine.

"Nice day at the range," Trump Jr wrote on his Instagram account. "@rarebreedfirearms and @spikes_tactical adding a little extra awesome to my AR and that mag…" Trump Jr. also posted multiple emojis of flames and faces with tears of joy. The post had received over 187,000 likes on Instagram as of Monday afternoon.

The image of Clinton on the firearm is an apparent reference to one of the president's infamous 2016 slogans, "Lock her up," suggesting the former secretary of state be put behind bars in connection to the email scandal despite being cleared by the FBI of any criminal wrongdoing. The chant has recently been repeated at several of Trump's rallies this year wherever the president has mentioned his former opponent and her election race against him.

Trump Jr and his brother, Eric Trump, are avid hunters. The duo had also stirred controversy during their father's 2016 presidential campaign as pictures resurfaced of them posing with an elephant, a buffalo and a leopard they had shot on safari.

Trump Jr, last month, had shot an endangered argali, the world’s largest living sheep, in Mangolia, according to reports. The president's son, at the time of the hunt, reportedly did not have permission to kill the animal. He only received a permit after the kill.
