Trump says he'll ‘declassify everything’ before leaving office as he accuses Democrats of ‘spying and treason’
President Donald J. Trump has agreed to declassify "everything" before leaving office as he continues to accuse Democrats of "spying" and "treason." Conservative pundit Todd Starnes tweeted Saturday morning, "At this point, @realDonaldTrump should declassify everything. Everything." Trump retweeted the post and added his own comment, "I have been doing this. I agree!"

He subsequently lashed out at Joe Biden's campaign and his son Hunter, saying "we caught them cold, spying, treason & more." "IF Biden gets in, nothing will happen to Hunter or Joe," Trump tweeted. "Barr will do nothing, and the new group of partisan killers coming in will quickly kill it all. Same thing with Durham. We caught them cold, spying, treason & more (the hard part), but 'Justice' took too long. Will be DOA!"

According to The Sun, Trump is frustrated with the series of losses in court over his campaign's attempts to overturn the presidential election results. He is also disappointed in Attorney General Bill Barr for his failure to take action on criminal allegations against Hunter Biden.
Trump reportedly voiced his frustration with Barr in a Friday meeting after it emerged that the AG knew of a federal investigation into the former VP's son before the election but chose not to disclose it to the public, according to The Wall Street Journal. The President also shared a tweet Saturday hinting that Barr should immediately be fired if the Wall Street Journal story is true.

The day before, Trump raised questions on why didn't Barr report the probe into Hunter before the elections, then continued to falsely declare he had "won the election anyway." Trump wrote on Twitter: "Why didn’t the Fake News Media, the FBI, and the DOJ report the Biden matter BEFORE the Election. Oh well, it’s OK, we won the Election anyway - 75,000,000 VOTES!!!" The Republican's reaction came after a report on The Wall Street Journal, on Thursday, December 10, claimed that Barr was aware of the allegations into Hunter's business dealings since spring and had also attempted to stop the probe from being made public.

Trump and other Republicans have urged Barr to pursue Hunter for months. The Journal quoted a source as saying that the attorney general warded of pressure from congressional Republicans who were aiming at information from the investigations. Barr's reported attempts to keep Biden probes from becoming public were in accordance with DOJ rules that restrict prosecutors from taking public investigative steps that could affect the outcome of an election.
Republicans in Senate, on September 23 this year, had released an 87-page report detailing Hunter Biden’s work for Ukrainian gas company Burisma Holdings during the time his father Joe Biden was vice president. The report had found out that two Obama administration officials had raised concerns that Biden’s Ukraine policy would be a conflict of interest with Hunter’s ties to the gas company.
President Trump, on Friday, wrote another tweet on the incident, writing: "Now it turns out that my phone call to the President of Ukraine, which many, including me, have called 'perfect', was even better than that. I predicted Biden corruption, said to call the A.G., who perhaps knew of the corruption during the impeachment hoax?"
