There's careful what you wish for and then there's careful what you brag about. President Donald Trump is bearing the brunt of both after videos of him bragging about the US-Mexico border wall surfaced in the wake of the very same collapsing under hurricane Hanna. In the words of MeidasTouch's official Twitter account, social media has now managed to trend #TrumpCantKeepItUp.

A little while ago, on the evening of July 26, a video landed on the internet, claiming to show the giant and shocking fall of the 'indestructible' border wall Trump is building. Under the tropical storm's attack, the section of the US-Mexico border wall between Texas and the northeastern Mexican state of Tamaulipas, seemed to be battered by the hurricane's wrath as locals run in shock towards the camera that caught the footage. The tiny little clip made it to the internet and soon MeidasTouch, an outlet known for "producing the most hard-hitting, impactful and most-watched political videos", tweeted a video of Trump, where the president is bragging about the walls he's building on the border.

"It is the most powerful and comprehensive border wall structure anywhere in the world. It's got technology that nobody would even believe," Trump can be seen talking about the wall in the clip during a visit to Arizona to mark the completion of over 200 miles (322 kilometers) of the wall along the US border with Mexico back in June. The outlet paired up the video with the SpongeBob meme, "Many unbearable hours later," and added a clip of the same wall getting bashed up and collapsing under the crushing impact of the hurricane in what the internet is now calling #TrumpCantKeepItUp.

Noticing the irony of it all, a user tweeted: "Trump’s 'most powerful and comprehensive border wall structure anywhere in the world' just collapsed. SAD!" While some people tweeted noting how, "Mother Nature has some thing to say about Trump's wall." Celebrities like actor Mark Hamill also shared, "So Mother Nature doesn't want to Make America Great Again? Maybe Mexico will pay to repair this if we catch them in a good mood... Por favor?"

Others went on to remark, "I'd bet my life itself that the funding Congress allocated for the wall got funneled into accounts that have nothing to do with building a wall. You're looking at the result." Others also highlighted how, "Trump hasn’t been able to keep it up for years: — Popularity — TV ratings — Credit rating — Business at his properties — Reputation — Standing of America — US Economy — US relationships w/ allies It’s no surprise his border wall is no different," with the signature hashtag that's also being accompanied with #TrumpIsACompleteFailure.
