'Shadowhunter' fans are going to be thrilled to the point of divine ecstasy as Katherin returns to the screen as a leading lady. It's fair to say that Katherine's claim to considerable fame is in her role as Clary Fray in the massively, huge (pardon the hyperbole) hit 'Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments'. Fans raged as the show met an untimely end in 2019, and still hold out hope that one of the streaming giants will get their fingers out and resurrect the sleeping behemoth. Katherine's legions of fans also followed her in another cult hit 'Arrow' and then as Abby Walker in the middling 'Walker: Independence'. Fans can see her next in 'Air Force One Down' as Agent Allison Miles.
Markian Tarasiuk
Markian has starred in some of Canada's biggest hits from 'Noonbory and the Super 7' (remember that?) and 'iZombie' to 'Shut Eye' and 'Project MC2'. he was also seen in 'The Night Agent' and 'Family Law'.
Nikki Deloach
Nikki (who also wrote this movie) burst onto the scene in the 1995 series 'Misery Loves Company' before starring as 'MJ' Bevans in the hit show 'North Shore'. She then went on to do a short stint (by soap opera standards) in 'Days of Our Lives'. But then 'Awkward.' came calling and Nikki made the role of Lacey Hamilton her own. Over 83 brilliant episodes, Nikki cemented her reputation as a supremely talented actress. Fans can see her next in the much-anticipated upcoming series 'Girl at the Bar'.
Is 'True Justice: Family Ties' worth watching?
It's got Katherine McNamara in it so a squillion 'Shadowhunters' fans are going to watch it anyway. But even if we set individual stardom aside, 'True Justice: Family Ties' has all the elements required for 90 minutes of solid viewing: A killer, a bunch of young law students, and blood ties. Nothing more needed!
