Michael Lamar White IV, commonly known by his stage name Trippie Redd, has taken to social media to tease and announce his new single 'I Got You' which is getting an accompanying official music video. The new track is a collaborative effort with Busta Rhymes.

Teasing the music video earlier on Thursday, September 10, Redd wrote "I GOT YOU VIDEO TONIGHT 🎥 @aidancullen1" in the caption alongside a preview of the video. In the clip, we see Redd quick scenes from a high school setting and both the rapper and Busta Rhymes in the hall in front of lockers at the end. Prior to the video, Redd shared a photo from the video shoot with him and several students together wearing Pegasus High School Jackets. In the caption, he teased, "Pegasus High School most likely to succeed 👀👀."

In his followup post, Redd revealed the song will feature Busta Rhymes as a special guest and that it is produced by Wheezy. "I GOT YOU FT @bustarhymes PROD @wheezy DROPS TODAY AT 9PM PST. SONG AND VID AT 9 WHO WANT ITTTT 💕💕💕💕🎥🎥🎥🌙🌙🌙," he wrote alongside a cover art pic. His latest post to tease the track once again is a photo of him and Busta Rhymes in the backseat of a car together. For 'I Got You', Redd has interpolated Busta’s 2002 hit ‘I Know What You Want‘ which features Mariah Carey and Flipmode Squad and appeared on his sixth album 'It Ain’t Safe No More'. However, Busta Rhymes fans can look forward to him adding a brand-new verse on 'I Got You'.

For those who have been following the rapper, reports have claimed that Redd has been working on a new rock album, titled 'Pegasus', which has been leaked in its entirety. Along with the full 26-song tracklisting, all of the collaborations on the album have reportedly been revealed as well. Apart from the Busta Rhymes collab, 14 of the 26 songs allegedly have collaborations with various artistes, including Swae Lee and Sean Kingston, Lil Wayne, Future, Young Thug, Quavo and more. Redd has not addressed the leak as of yet and there is no info on if and how much the album has been re-worked since then. There is also the possibility that the rapper may re-work the album entirely before its release, but with a set of collaborative guests such as the aforementioned artistes, we hope he doesn't.
