The sensational Travis Scott has something he wants the whole world to see: a brand new Netflix documentary titled ‘Travis Scott: Look Mom I Can Fly’. The rapper announced the upcoming film with a post on Instagram and a pop-up event in Houston, Texas. Scott has already done a short documentary before titled 'La Flame'.

Release Date:

The documentary will be released on Netflix August 28.

Plot:

The film will give viewers a look into Scott’s fast-paced life. In 2018, Scott became a Grammy-nominee, performed during the Super Bowl halftime show and became a father. The documentary uses clips from his live shows and home videos from his childhood to tell the story of his rise to fame and glory.

Here’s Netflix’s official synopsis for the documentary: “While crafting his Grammy-nominated album 'Astroworld,' Travis Scott juggles controversy, fatherhood and career highs in this intimate documentary.”

Scott is one of the hottest young artists in the industry. The 28-year-old, born Jacques Berman Webster II, is a Grammy-nominated musician and is currently in a relationship with Kylie Jenner, with whom he has a daughter named Stormi Webster. The documentary will feature footage from the life of the rap superstar and will almost certainly feature some of the big stars associated with Scott.

"White Trash" Tyler

Born Tyler Ross, the Canadian filmmaker has worked with some of the biggest names in the rap industry including Kanye West, Drake and 21 Savage. Ross will be directing the film. David Stromberg, Angus Wall and Scott’s daughter Stormi have producer credits on the documentary, with Scott himself serving as executive producer.

Scott invited fans down to a pop-up event in Houston on August 22 where they could meet him and also catch their first look at the trailer for 'Look Mom I can Fly'. The trailer, which was subsequently published online, is a montage of clips from the documentary with an eerily beautiful soundtrack that’s got us very hyped up. Fans will be eagerly counting the days until the release of this documentary about one of the biggest stars of this generation.
