When Nikki and Brie Bella found out that they were pregnant together, the twin sisters were over the moon. They began dreaming of enjoying their pregnancy together and being by each other's side through the journey.

While Brie is happily settled down in Phoenix, Arizona, along with her daughter and husband Daniel Bryan, Nikki found herself torn between Arizona and LA. Nikki and her fiance, Artem Chigvintsev, initially planned on having their baby in LA and built their life around it. From finding the best doctors to getting health insurance, the couple was ready to start their family in LA. But thanks to the lockdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, the couple found themselves locked in Arizona.

Nikki and Artem had no prior experience or any idea on how to take care of a child and didn't even seem keen on reading books on parenting or attending any classes. This worried Brie a lot, who felt that the couple should have some knowledge on how to care for an infant. However, she was glad about the fact that since they were in Arizona, she could be there for them and help them along the way.

Nikki and Artem were more than relieved to have Brie's expertise and help during the pregnancy. Things were going so smoothly that Nikki began toying with the idea of having the baby in Arizona. They even began speaking to their insurance agency to change the hospital details. However, everything turned upside down when during a regular checkup, a nurse discovered a speck on the baby's heart in Nikki's x-ray.

When the nurse brought it to Nikki's attention, the reality star instantly began freaking out. She then insisted on Artem to get an appointment with their regular doctor in LA and to drive down there to get to the bottom of the matter.

The next morning they drove down for over six hours to see their doctor. After the doctor carried out another round of tests and analyzed the reports, she concluded that Nikki and Artem had nothing to worry about and that different body parts grow at different paces, and the baby's heart would eventually grow fine. The couple was instantly relieved and happy.

Later, they found out that if they had their child in Arizona, then the insurance wouldn't cover the hospital expenses, but instead, the couple would have to pay it out of their pockets and try to get reimbursed for the same.

Nikki then decides to have the baby in LA so that they won't have to undergo any financial stress. She slowly breaks her decision to move back to LA to Brie, who was extremely sad on hearing it. In her green room interview, Brie expresses her sadness and disappointment but also understands where they were coming from and gives them her blessings.

'Total Bellas' Season 6 airs every Thursday at 9/8c on E!
