Raptors vs Celtics: Theis accidentally faces Siakam's 'sweet chin music', fans joke 'there's new heartbreak kid'
Just when we thought the action between two teams couldn't get any better. The Boston Celtics and the Toronto Raptors took squared off for Game 5 and in the heat of the action, Celtics forward Daniel Theis literally took a kick to the face by Pascal Siakam. It all happened when Theis received a no-look pass from Brad Wanamaker, but Siakam by then was all set to move to prevent Wanamaker from making the shot.
The Raptors man jumped but it was too late when he realized his left leg was already extending backward and Theis found himself kicked flush in the face. While this earned him a foul, it was clear there was no purposeful attempt as Siakam immediately checked on Thies who seemed fine and took both free throws. Fans had their share of fun as they took to Twitter to talk about the "sweet chin music" for Theis.
