Bravo's 'Top Chef' has returned with 15 chefs from previous seasons who were this close to winning the title and it's looking good already. The contestants will have to go through a series of challenge rounds before they can present their final dishes (of the day) to judges — Padma Lakshmi, Tom Colicchio, and Gail Simmons — and celebrity guests.

Gregory Gourdet, the runner-up of 'Top Chef' Season 12, won hearts with his flavorful dish, charred salmon with grilled peaches and roasted chili dressing. He and his yellow team — Stephanie Cmar and Jamie Lynch — stood out with their three dishes that were equal parts good looking and delectable.

Stephani's prawn and charred corn were Padma and Gail's favorite of all. "It was one of the best things I had all day," Padma added. Meanwhile, Tom seemed to like Jamie's mussel dish. However, he did point out that removing the broth from the mussel makes it dry, which he needs to take a note of for future references.

"Gregory's dish, I thought the flavors were really, really bold," Tom said and added that the salmon was perfectly cooked. While chef Jeremiah Tower admitted that he was in two minds at first when he heard salmon with peaches. "The peaches were lightly rubbed with olive oil," he said and Jeremiah responded that he changed his thoughts about the dish the moment he tasted it.

No prizes for guessing, Gregory won the round and was safe from eliminations. Fans are rooting for him, with some even wanting to see him in the finale. Peaches with salmon is a rare combination, which seems to have piqued everyone's interest.

"Loved my fave @GG30000 elimination dish which he won the best dish - Grilled Salmon with peaches!! Great combination love peaches & salmon together!! Congrats Gregory!!! So happy 4 u!! So excited 2 be rooting 4 u again... #TopChef," a fan shared, while another: "Now to figure out how many dishes I can add grilled peaches to. #TopChef."

"I love Gregory's dish and especially the way he was able to incorporate peaches into a seafood dish. Brilliantly done. #TopChef," a viewer expressed. "I will be cooking peaches with my salmon next time. Sounds delish. #TopChef," another tweeted.
