LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Amazon Prime's 'Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan’ Season 4 is out - bringing back the epic blend of action, suspense, political intrigue, and drama to create a captivating viewing experience. The thrilling world of espionage and intelligence starring John Krasinski as Jack Ryan will conclude its storyline this last season. The first episode of ‘Jack Ryan’ Season 4 centers around Jack Ryan and the new dangers and threats that linger around him.

John Krasinski’s Jack Ryan, the central protagonist in ‘Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan’, is a determined CIA analyst, now acting as the Deputy Director. His analytical skills, unwavering commitment, and strategic thinking have always kept the audience intrigued till the end, and for the last time his multifaceted character will embody the quintessential hero archetype.

In the first episode of ‘Jack Ryan’ Season 4 titled ‘Triage’, the story kicks off with a future glimpse of Jack Ryan’s wrenching capture where he’s beaten badly. Three weeks earlier, an assassination team had killed the Nigerian President in Lagos, and was led by a man whose face felt somewhat familiar from Season 1.

The episode centered around different locations, particularly Myanmar where the new threat emerges. Meanwhile, Jack Ryan's team is being questioned for their alleged involvement in the killing of the Nigerian President, a situation that leaves Ryan himself uncertain about the truth. The series of events in episode one is the beginning of what lies ahead of the newly established threat connecting the political agendas, cartels beyond dangerous purposes, and Ryan’s commitment to solving it all.

Is Jack Ryan involved in President Udoh's assassination?

Following the assassination of Nigerian President Okoli by a strike team, Jack Ryan is questioned by the Senate Intelligence Committee about whether the CIA was involved in his death. Ryan's answers stun the committee members as he is not sure if the CIA was involved. He reveals that he’s terrified and believes that the CIA is being compromised by an insider, possibly former deputy director Thomas Miller, and interests of domestic and foreign countries are affecting the agency. However, Ryan assures the committee that he'll find those responsible for the murder of President Okoli and eliminate the doubts lingering on the agency, especially on him.

Meanwhile, his previous mission in Russia was brought up by a senator which further complicates his loyalty and the newly assigned authority of a deputy director. After an intense meeting with the Senate, Jack Ryan drives back home and to everyone’s surprise, his former love interest, Dr Cathy Mueller is back in his high-stake life.

Will Jack Ryan be able to identify the new threat?

After Jack Ryan is suspected of involvement in the death of President Udoh, he and James Greer embark on a mission to uncover the truth. They meticulously review files from Miller's previous cases and identify nine operations, two of which are decipherable. Ryan realizes that the only way to expose those behind the events in Lagos is to shut down all the operations and cut off their funding.

Meanwhile, a violent shootout in Mexico involving a cartel and a new emerging enemy catches Elizabeth Wright's attention, as she suspects it may be connected to what happened in Lagos. At a Nigerian fundraiser event hosted by Zeyara Lemos, Wright becomes intrigued by Adebayo 'Ade' Osoji, a Nigerian lobbyist who passionately discusses Nigerian issues and the events in Lagos. She introduces Zeyara to Jack and Cathy, planning on aligning the mutual interests of Zeyara’s foundation and Cathy’s organization during a meeting at the Relief Conference.

Will Jack Ryan reactivate Pluto?

After the night at the fundraiser, Ryan and Cathy drive back home, only to get gunned down by an enemy, Domingo Chavez, who threatens Ryan to turn Pluto back on. Will Ryan do it for the sake of his loved ones?
