LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: The ‘Today’ show is laden with memorable moments of anchors messing up or displaying their impeccable abilities to get out of tricky situations. Although recently, one of those anchors landed herself in a tricky situation as she failed to keep her thoughts to herself. During one of the segments of the ‘Today’ show, co-host Sheinelle Jones let out a hearty giggle that received hilarious reactions from her peers, Craig Melvin, Dylan Dreyer, and Al Roker.

During the June 7 broadcast of the show, Sheinelle was present alongside Craig, Dylan, and Melvin for the ‘What to Watch’ segment. The hosts discussed the Netflix feature film, ‘The Perfect Find,’ releasing on June 14, 2023. It follows a woman who has to risk her career, her biological clock, and her bank account to be with the "perfect" person for her. The film stars Gabrielle Union and Keith Powers. Powers' image proved to be the Achilles' heel for Sheinelle whose eyes lit up when he came onscreen.

'Oh, is that the son?'

Sheinelle admired the young actor's looks and couldn’t help but swoon over him. The hosts were looking at the cast of ‘The Perfect Find’ and the image of a dashing Keith Powers was just too much for Sheinelle to resist. Sheinelle asked, “Oh, is that the son?” when Keith’s image came up. The others in the studio took notice of Sheinelle’s apparent lust for Keith and couldn’t help but comment.

Craig turned to her with raised eyebrows and said, “What is wrong with you?” Al who was sitting right beside Sheinelle urged, "Come on, stop,” but the 45-year-old Sheinelle couldn’t contain herself as she continued to giggle at her colleagues’ reactions.

'Oh no, my battery pack!'

However, this is not the first time that Sheinelle has embarrassed herself among her peers. Recently, during one of the episodes of the ‘Today’ show, ‘Nike’s master trainer Joe Holder stopped by for a ‘Start Today' segment to show off a few exercises. He told Sheinelle, Dylan Dreyer, and Al Roker about how active recovery workouts increase energy and reduce fatigue. Joe asked everyone to jump rope first and as soon as Sheinelle began, she yelled, “Oh no, my battery pack!” She had to stop to fix her battery pack and her name was etched in the book of embarrassing moments once again.
