'90 Day Fiance' is one of TLC's hit reality series that has entertained viewers for over 7 seasons now. It has spawned as many as six spinoffs to date. The premise is simple yet sets up the stage for a lot of drama because it's all about love across borders and that too the kind that has a timer on it. Those eager for the next season, read on to find more about it.

Release date

'90 Day Fiance' Season 8 premieres on Sunday, December 6, on TLC starting at 8/7c.

Plot

Every season, at least six couples, who meet and fall in love, are given 90 days to decide whether or not they want to tie the knot. Their relationship is timed because their partners are from across borders and their visas allow them just those few months of time to make crucial decisions about their love lives. What makes it more interesting to watch is how couples navigate the clashing aspects of different cultures.

Cast

This year, the show will feature three returning couples Mike and Natalie, Hazel and Tarik, and Zied and Rebecca. They have starred in the spinoff series aired on TLC that tracked their storylines from the time they met. '90 Day Fiance' also stars four new couples who are sure to add to the drama. Brandon-Julia, Jovi-Yara, Stephanie-Ryan and Andrew-Amira will bring interesting narratives with them as they too are all set to tackle the many challenges thrown at their 90-day journey on the show. Here's hoping all the couples are able to hang on to each other by the time their time ends.

Trailer

The three-minute-long trailer promises a rollercoaster ride through and through. As expected, we see the couple struggle with alcoholism, family interference, nudity and such. It's evident that it's all set to take social media by storm because there will be favorites and villains once the maiden episode drops.

Showrunner

The show is produced by Industrial Media's Sharp Entertainment for TLC.
