Plot

The series will feature six comedians handpicked by Haddish herself which include both new faces as well as experienced veterans. Each episode will find the comedians performing their ‘raw humor’ on stage in front of a live audience, being allotted 15 to 20 minutes of performance time on average.

The trailer reveals amusing glimpses from the performing comedians, who have been seasoned at popular forums like Saturday Night Live, Comedy Central Presents and Last Comic Standing, among others.

Haddish selected an all-Black cast of comedians for this season, a move that has earned accolades especially at a time after the ‘Black Lives Matter’ movement. “This season I purposely made sure everybody was black. Because I’m black,” she said.
