'This Is Us' Season 5 Finale: Will Kevin and Madison's wedding be called off? Kate or Miguel may be in harm's way
'This Is Us' fans have been wondering whether the Kevin Pearson (Justin Hartley), Madison Simons (Caitlin Thompson) wedding will actually ever take place, considering that the two have been having some serious doubts about saying 'I do', albeit in the privacy of their own heads.
But could the wedding be stalled for another reason entirely? Milo Ventimiglia who plays Jack Pearson on 'This Is Us', in a recent interview, shared some rather cryptic comments about the show's finale. Ventimiglia said in an interview to 'The Talk' on CBS, "It’s one of those episodes that definitely, I feel like people are going to be upset. But in an 'oh no they didn’t' kind of way. Like, 'Did they just do that? Oh, man. And I got to wait how long now until that gets… oh, man. What jerks.'”

Fans are starting to wonder if a cast member's death or illness ends up stalling the wedding. As for who that cast member could be, bets seem to be on Miguel Rivas (Jon Huertas) Rebecca's husband and Jack Pearson's best friend.
One fan on YouTube said, "I'm not worried about Kev and Madison, they will get married after a nice and emotional explanation between them. If the wedding is postponed, it's not because one of them changed his mind but because something happened to someone in the family. At the beginning of the season a writer said that something was going to happen that would change the lives of all the Pearsons except Jack because he died...so I'm still waiting for that event...I think it's going to be about Miguel."
Another fan on YouTube concurred, "So, remember a few seasons ago when they flashed forward and showed Rebecca really old in bed without any memory left? Toby looked depressed and alone (him taking the job in San Diego might be the start of their relationship failing). Kevin asked his son “where’s your mom”....so I’m guessing he and Madison stay together even though they both have some doubts. I don’t remember seeing Miguel there (not that any of us care what happens with them lol). Thoughts???"
Another fan on YouTube concurs with the theories of a catastrophic event suspending the wedding saying, "I have 3 predictions: 1) Madison calls off the wedding 2) A huge event happens that interrupts the ceremony, like Miguel or Kate dying 3) They do get married but Kevin is with someone else in the future I just don’t understand how Kevin and Madison will be together in the future at this point."
