'The Young And The Restless' Spoilers: Will Lily be able to reconcile Devon and Nate after the Elena fiasco?
It's a very short week on 'The Young And The Restless'. With the CBS soap opera announcing they are ending things off on the 12,000th episode mark, the milestone episode will see "Sharon remind everyone on the importance of giving back; Lily try to mend fences between Devon and Nate, and Summer have a change of heart," reveals the official synopsis.
However, none of these hints address the burning question of whether Billy (Jason Thompson) will be found guilty for the mysterious case involving Adam (Mark Grossman) and the shooting, our mind keeps drifting to the topic, especially now that Victoria too seems to be lying for the sake of her ex-husband.
To break down the spoilers, it looks like Billy's plans of spending some quality time with his new beau Lily (Christel Khalil) might be interrupted by her trying to reconcile Nate (Sean Dominic) and Devon (Bryton James), after that Elena fiasco. While we continue to debate whether it's too soon or not, Lily surely has some big plans for thanksgiving, and it is about family coming together to bury hatchets and more, right?
So what better time to get them to forgive each other than now? Worth noting that apologies are also due from both ends, from Nate for sleeping with Devon's girlfriend, and from Devon for punching the other man and ending his surgical career, so how much luck Lily will have with the reconciliation is still up for guesses.
But while she's busy trying to get the two men to act bigger than the person each is, her new boyfriend Billy is having a bit of a difficult time trying to maintain his defense in the Adam shooting case. Rey (Jordi Vilasuso) is quite confident about Billy having stolen the gun from Victoria's safe, no matter what the other man keeps claiming. And based on the synopsis, looks like Rey is about to be proven quite wrong in that department.
This brings Victoria's claims to mind as she stood up for Billy and still insisted she hadn't seen anybody take the gun out of her safe, thus raising the doubt whether the former couple will get together to hoodwink Rey another time? If the evidence does point back at Adam again, it will be a sure shot ending for Chelsea's (Melissa Claire Egan) chances at bridging the gap between her and Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson), so the stakes are quite high for anybody involved in some capacity with the shooting.
And then there is of course the big confrontation between Summer (Hunter King) and her innermost feelings about Kyle (Michael Mealor) as she keeps changing her mind like the weather. Whether she even loves Kyle still continues to be a question that somehow hasn't been shed as much clarity as Summer's food habits have.
That said, whether or not she will have a problem with the stuffing at Sharon's thanksgiving dinner is also up for speculation simply because of the erratic person Summer can be.
'The Young And The Restless' airs on weekdays at 4.30 pm on CBS.
