LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Part 1 has been a major success amongst fans, especially because it is Henry Cavill’s last stint as Geralt. There’s a lot to love in these 5 episodes, and while ‘The Witcher’ has a lot of action, there are moments of comedic relief too. Usually, that comedy is provided by Jaskier, a fan-favorite character played by Joey Batey. This time around, the creators have given his character some depth, and while that includes some romance, it also means giving importance to his platonic relationships.

Of course, everyone loves seeing Geralt and Jaskier together. They are the definition of hot and cold, and sometimes Jaskier is exactly what Geralt needs. However, in ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Part 1, we see a lot of different relationships explored, and one of them is Ciri and Jaskier. Fans can’t get enough of them despite their limited screen time. Whether it is Jaskier being bait for Ciri or guarding her throughout the night, or even laughing along with her, fans have loved every second of it, and have taken to Twitter to express their thoughts.

‘Ciri and Jaskier are hilarious’

One of the things fans have loved the most is when Jaskier and Ciri mimicked Yennefer and Geralt’s conversation from afar in ‘The Witcher’ Season 3 Episode 4. While we couldn’t hear what the couple was saying, Jaskier and Ciri’s dialogue was more than enough. One fan wrote, “Ciri and Jaskier making fun of Yen and Geralt is everything omg haha. #TheWitcher.” Another fan tweeted, “#TheWitcher season 3 needs to stop it rn cuz I can’t handle how cute Ciri and Jaskier’s relationship is. Uncle Jaskier is gonna kill me.” It looks like everyone can get on board with this duo as one fan focused on their adorable friendship and wrote, “Ciri and Jaskier being best buddies in season 3 is everything I wanted #TheWitcher.”

In the same episode, another scene that stood out was when Ciri and Jaskier conspired to get Geralt to smile more often. This did make a lot of sense, considering how little he exercises his facial muscles with that stoic expression. One fan said, “Ciri and Jaskier are working together to get Geralt to smile more 🤣🤣🤣🤣 #TheWitcher” while another wrote, “Jaskier and Ciri having an inside joke about Geralt smiling has me crying why is he the sweetest EVER #TheWitcher #TheWitcher3.” Someone summed up the whole dynamic in a single tweet, noting, “Ciri and Jaskier are HILARIOUS #TheWitcher.” With Cavill exiting ‘The Witcher’ franchise, it looks like Netflix knows exactly what to do to save the next season!
