Spoilers for 'The Walking Dead' AMC series and comic book series by creator Robert Kirkman and artist Charlie Adlard

'The Walking Dead' is probably one of AMC's finest productions with a fan following hitting past the thousands. Inspired by Robert Kirkman's comic book series of the same name, the show has enough of a cult following for frantic theories to pop up — whether of characters or of the plot. Most fans that are a fan of the comics have found the series different yet alluring, doing justice to the narrative of nomadic life in the wake of a zombie apocalypse.

Many that have caught up to Season 10 are patiently waiting on the Whisperer War but Kirkman had some easter eggs for those wondering if the series would go past the comic book finale. Fans were eager to see that should the TV series surpass the comics narratives, their "dreams would be coming true!" "Glad to have discovered #TWD #TheWalkingDead television series and comics late bc I have a great appreciation for the show. Both it’s cast and crew! If #TWD #TheWalkingDead had stuck with the comic version, it would have been boring," wrote one fan.

The network series narrative continues to grow with movies set to release as well, but most recently, issue #193 of Kirkman's comics marked the last of the series in the animated art form. In issue #192, we see the death of Rick Grimes with the final issue jumping 25 years into the future, according to an article written on Screen Rant. While Carl Grimes (Chandler Riggs) is dead in the series, the comics had him married and raising a child, along with narratives to many other main characters such as Michonne (Danai Gurira, who left the series) and Negan.

Fans were eager to hear that the creator of this morbid entertaining world, Kirkman, revealed that the series could go past the narrative the comic book series ended on. "I will say that there's a lot of implied story in the final issue, with the railroad meeting and the colony to the West uniting with the colony to the East. There are some general thoughts and notions that I have for that.

If the television show ever gets to that point in the comic book series and we decide to continue past that point, I'm kind of excited about the idea of telling a little bit more with older Eugene (Josh McDermitt) and Judge Michonne and the different things that were in the comic series that could have gone on, and we could have done more with. So that could be kind of neat," said Kirkman as reported by Comic Book. One fan just simply wrote, "thanks #blessed".

"It would be crazy if the series would never stop at all but can't wait for more THE COMICS ARE EPIC AND SO IS THE SHOW thanks! @RobertKirkman #TheWalkingDead," wrote a fan about both the original comics and its adaptation. "I'm done the comics but I'm so happy we have more of the show glad kirkman is also on board makes it sooo worth it #twdgeek #twd," wrote another.

There are so many narratives with each character that the series could take so many different paths such as Beta rising in hate and power wanting to redeem Alpha's death, Michonne's off to find Rick, Negan and Lydia are bonding, Dary teaching Judith's (Cailey Fleming) ways of living, Princess's (Paola Lázaro) introduction and so much more. "There's so much to explore! it's cool that Kirkman wants more for the series #TWD," tweeted a fan. Another wrote, "I will always be a fan of the comics it's the s**t but mannn the series is dope PLEASE TELL US WHEN IT'S COMING BACK! #TWD @RobertKirkman."
