Each 'The Voice' winner allegedly receives $100,000 and a record deal with Universal Music Group. For instance, the 'American Idol' winner allegedly receives $250,000 plus a $1,000 weekly stipend while recording their album.

However, the winner of 'The Voice' may receive additional benefits from the show's celebrity coach mentoring them. Judge Blake has brought winners from his team on tour with him and has attempted to get Universal Music Group to properly market their recordings.

Furthermore, the financial award is said to come with conditions. According to the New York Daily News, if a participant breaks the contract they signed with the network, they will not get the reward.

Any candidate who leaks the show's contract specifics may be sued for $100,000 to $1 million. Aside from the financial reward, contenders are given a modest stipend to cover living expenses while on the show.
