'The Voice' Knockouts: Ariana loses David Vogel to Legend, fans ask 'what is she on'

NBC's hit show 'The Voice' is more than just a singing competition show, and new coach Ariana Grande will soon be learning that. The pop icon was introduced as one of the coaches on the show for season 21. Alongside Blake Shelton, John Legend, and Kelly Clarkson, Ariana will be coaching a group on talented and aspiring singers, one of who will win the competition and get to take home the prize money and the trophy awaiting the winner.

The other coaches- Blake, Kelly and John, have picked up some tricks and strategies on improving their chances of winning the competition over the years. Ariana is yet to learn, and fans couldn't help but notice the glaring lack of game plan from her end. For the knockouts round the 'Thank You, Next' singer paired David Vogel alongside Ryleigh Plank. Both the performers are exceptionally talented and have loads of potential. However, David piqued the interest of not just fans but also mega-mentor Ed Sheeran. When David was performing a Selena Gomez song during the rehearsals, Ed was fascinated not by just his vocals but also the notes he was playing on his guitar. Even though Ryleigh's performance was equally captivating and powerful, fans seemed to favor David and lush hair.

So after Ryleigh and David's final performance when it was time for Ariana to pick her winner, she surprised everybody by choosing Ryleigh as her winner. Ariana felt that Ryleigh had a unique edge to her. Thankfully, David's journey on the show didn't come to an end as John hit the steal button and stole him from Team Ariana. John explained how David's unique vocals would be a great addition to Team Legend.

While fans were pleased to see that David was still in the running on the show thanks to John's steal, many felt that Ariana made a huge mistake by letting David go off her team.
