'The Voice' Season 19: Sam Stacy picks Blake Shelton after 3 chair turns, Internet says 'you have a winner'
Sam Stacy was one of the contestants in the blind auditions of Episode 4 on 'The Voice' Season 19 where he covered James Taylor's popular number 'Fire and Rain'. Kelly Clarkson, who is one of the pickiest judges, was the first to press the buzzer and turn her red chair around quickly followed by Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani.
John Legend might be looking for some other qualities in this contestant and that’s why he did not turn his chair around. Kelly Clarkson, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani were more than willing to take the 27-year-old singer in their team, however, after giving it a little thought after getting three chair turns, Sam picked Team Blake in the end.
The world of Twitter also gave their valuable opinion on the singer. One user said, “@NBCTheVoice watching Sam Stacy get 3 chair turns. Why?” Another user tweeted, “Sam Stacy. Another blind tv audition setting the mood. He strumming the guitar with an enticing vocal. I want to turn my chair. Good storytelling quality, but the coaches are talking their time. 3chairs in the last inning.” One stated, “Soothing 70s vibe, loved it so much!!” Another user added, “Way to go Blake...you’ve got a winner. Speaking as a true Nebraskan.”
