Kelly Clarkson may not have a reputation of being a very picky coach on 'The Voice', but that doesn't mean that she lacks an ear for great music. Kelly is often the first coach to press the buzzer and turn her chair during the blind auditions. Whenever she hears a great voice, without a moment of hesitation, Kelly immediately swoops in to get the singer to join her team.

So, when 24-year-old Madeline Consoer walked onto the stage of 'The Voice' and gave a great performance to the song 'Girl' by Maren Morris, Kelly was instantly impressed. Despite the other coaches not turning their chairs, Kelly excitedly turned her chair and could be seen cheering very hard for the young singer's performance. During the end of Madeline's performance, even the audience could be seen cheering very hard for her.

Blake Shelton pointed out how the audience seemed to love her and then revealed that he was planning on hitting the buzzer himself, but stopped because he saw that Kelly was toying with the black button, and didn't want to give his fellow coach the satisfaction of blocking him. John Legend complimented Madeline for her great voice and passionate performance. Gwen couldn't believe that at such a young age, Madeline was able to perform like an experienced person. Kelly then expressed her excitement over the opportunity of coaching Madeline in a genre that she has vast knowledge about.

Just like Kelly, fans too loved Madeline, and couldn't stop praising her. A fan tweeted, "Madeline Consoer starts with such a beautiful tone and she has legs for days. I like that this is more than just pretty. She brings a lil angst and so much joy. Nice ending #TheVoice #voicepremiere." Another wrote, "@kellyclarkson #VoicePremiere Madeline is a great turn the other coaches screwed up." A third wrote, "@kellyclarkson #VoicePremiere Madeline is going to rock the house with that voice! #TeamKelly."

Many fans are convinced that Madeline will surprise everybody with her incredible talent. A fan commented, "@kellyclarkson #VoicePremiere congratulate kelly clarkson on getting madeline and I think madeline is going too surprised some people this season on the show and is going too do really well in the competition this season." "I feel like she was holding back a little, she's going to be a dark horse in this competition for sure!" declared a fan.
