‘The Voice’ Season 19 is finally here and we will see coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Gwen Stefani doing what they do best — push buttons to turn around their big red chairs and add singers to their teams. The show has just begun and it is already packing heat with extremely talented contestants. While John managed to get Tamara Jade in his team, Gwen did not lose any chance to get the contestant Lauren Frihauf in hers.

Lauren mesmerized the judges in the blind auditions with her power-packed performance to the song ‘Come To My Window’ and guess what, she is only 16 years old. Gwen and John wanted the young contestant in their respective teams, however, luck was in favour of the 51-year-old singer as Lauren chose Gwen’s team to further get trained in the rest of the show.

A lot of people were shocked on Twitter with her polished singing skills at such a young age. One user said, "Only 16 with that mature voice!!! #TheVoice yassss Lauren." Another said, "Lauren Frihauf is so relaxed and engaging. So young yet so seasoned. She has a nice ring to her vocal but also a roundness to. It the edges. Could have more attitude but good performance. #TheVoice.” One Twitterati added, “Lauren voice wow! She slay that song!  #TheVoice” One individual stated, “Uhm... LAUREN is insane & such a legit artist and person!!! What the HECK! #TheVoice."

Apart from the singing skills of the contestants, fans will also notice a few changes in the show due to the unfortunate global pandemic. The coaches sit farther apart and host Carson Daly will also keep his distance. ‘The Voice’ Season 19 premiere episode is currently being aired on NBC. Fans can also catch the singing reality show on the official website of NBC and on their official app along with the network's new streaming service Peacock.

Todd Tilghman was announced as the last season's winner from Team Blake at the age of 42, making him the oldest winner in the series, a record previously held by Josh Kaufman.
