Nick Jonas did what a man gotta do and blocked Kelly Clarkson for Arei Moon on night 2 of 'The Voice' Season 18's blind auditions.

'The Voice' Season 18 continued with their blind auditions on February 25 night with veteran coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson and John Legend returning to their chairs, alongside Nick Jonas who replaced Gwen Stefani.

While Adam is missed dearly by fans and viewers, Nick seems to be the perfect replacement as he proves he is in it to win it, after four-chair receiving contestant Joanna Serenko chose him as her coach on February 24 night. Returning on February 25 night, Nick once again went all out to get the one contestant he wanted on his team, by blocking Kelly.

Arei Moon, who is a first-generation Cape-Verdean from Boston, performed a brave rendition of Kelly's hit song 'Miss Independent' for her blind auditions. Nick was the first coach to hit his button simultaneously while blocking Kelly. Kelly followed suit but didn't realize she had been blocked till the end.

With Blake and John not turning their chairs for Arei, by default she joined Team Nick. While Kelly was impressed with Arei's choice of song, she was disappointed that she was blocked. Nick shared that he was excited by her powerhouse voice and we can't wait to see what this season holds for this 28-year-old contestant.

Taking to Twitter post the performance, fans affirm that Nick did what a man gotta do to keep Arei on his team and they stan. "That was a genius decision from you! It’s WHAT A MAN GOTTA DO to get a artist! #VoicePremiere."

"You did what you had to do lmao," a fan wrote. Adding to that another said, "You did what you had to do, I’m glad it was the first outcome too! #VoicePremiere."

"We STAN a KING who risks it all!! #TeamNick," a fan shared. While another wrote, "That was his wisest decision ever! It’s WHAT A MAN GOTTA DO! #VoicePremiere."
