'The Voice' Season 17 returned for week 2 of Blind Auditions with coaches Blake Shelton, Kelly Clarkson, John Legend, and Gwen Stefani.

Last week, when 'The Voice' Season 17 premiered, we saw Gwen Stefani take the lead by stealing some of the best contestants to Team Gwen. But when the series returned this week, it looks like John Legend is all out to make the coaches have a run for their win after he gets two four-chair turn winning contestants to Team Legend.

Marybeth Byrd and Mendeleyev were the two singers to receive a four-chair turn for their performances on September 30. Both contestants are from a different genre, and for them to choose Legend, was a shocking pick, especially when it came to Marybeth's choice.

Mendeleyev was the first contestant this week to receive a four-chair turn from the coaches. Though they were a little hesitant prior to turning their chairs, once they did, the coaches couldn't resist rooting for him and giving their best pitch hoping he would pick either one of them as his coach. After his performance, Kelly Clarkson revealed that she felt like a warm blanket had been wrapped around her. She also added that his voice was like the best glass of pinot noir.

But sadly, no matter how much she pitched, in the end, after Legend started to sing a Richie song, who is Mendeleyev's inspiration, it was a sealed deal. While it was a known fact that Mendeleyev would choose Legend, fans, and viewers were shocked when Marybeth also chose him.

Marybeth was the second contestant on September 30 to receive a four-chair turn for her raspy and emotional voice. Though Blake Shelton turned his chair for her, sadly he was blocked by Kelly. With only Kelly, Legend and Gwen left in the running to become her coach, everyone speculated that she might end up with either Gwen or Kelly. But much to everyone's surprise, Marybeth went with her gut and picked the right coach.

She chose Legend as her coach, and as much as that surprised everyone, it surprised Legend himself to know that he had such a versatile singer on his team. By just getting Mendeleyev and Marybeth to join his team, Legend is surely a coach to watch out for this season.
