'The Voice' Season 18: Loving husband Jon Mullins wins a spot on team Blake and fans couldn't be happier
'The Voice' Season 18's tonight's episode saw some immensely talented artists. One of the spectacular things about the show would always be the relationship the contestants form with the audience, along with being the coaches' favorites. Such has been the legacy of 'The Voice' that fans get immensely invested in the artists.
One such contestant was the 32 years old, Jon Mullins from Nashville. He came into the auditions with his wife who's been undergoing treatment after she started losing her speech a couple of years ago post an injury to her head. For the auditions, Jon chose 'Don't Give Up On Me' by Andy Grammer as his song, which seemed apt to his situation in life. His performance earned him a one chair turn from Blake Shelton but eventually, all the coaches agreed to Jon being a very good addition to the show.
Nick Jonas said, "If there's an opportunity to steal you later, I'm going to snatch you right up." Blake looked quite elated since he didn't have to fight the other coaches for Jon. "This is the biggest day of my coaching career" he echoed.
Just like Blake and the rest of the coaches, the internet was going berserk over Jon as well. He seemed to have become quite a hit with the fans who believe Jon is a very good name on Blake's team and there were multiple fans who took to Twitter to congratulate Blake on scoring Jon. "I think Jon Mullins is amazing@blakeshelton #VoiceBlinds," wrote a fan. Another fan tweeted, "@blakeshelton #VoiceBlinds Blake Jon was AWESOME!! So happy you picked him to coach!!!". Another tweet read, "@blakeshelton #VoiceBlinds Two artist that you stole! Jon is AMAZING!!! He is going places".
