She continued, "I came into this with a million trepidations and concerns and fears.” Griffin highlighted that she felt “embraced” by the entire team in her first year.

Alyssa Farah Griffin reveals how Brian Teta's move left her 'defeated'

Alyssa Farah Griffin narrated a story very she had the “hardest time” and it involved Stephanie Grisham, the former White House press secretary. Griffin and Grisham worked together in the White House, and were “nemesis,” according to Griffin.

They didn’t get along because of “outside factors” and people pitting them against each other.

Griffin said, “She got in my head. Because there was this already sort of existing rivalry, and I would feel like I did such a good job on the show, and then I’d see “Oh she’s coming on the next day.” It would be so defeating.”

Griffin then directly addressed Brian Teta, “Like you’re a masochist in how you do this to the poor women.” Teta and Griffin both had a hearty laugh after Griffin’s comment about Teta being called a “masochist.”

‘The View’ co-host also clarified that she and Grisham connected at CNN later, and “hashed out” all their issues. Grisham and Griffin are now friends, and the former is a great “support system” to Griffin.
