'The View' host Sunny Hostin says Donald Trump has 'diarrhea of the mouth' in response to his 'Meet The Press' interview
NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former President Donald Trump and Kristen Welker’s interview on 'Meet The Press' has gained quite a bit of traction, and on Monday, September 18, ‘The View’ co-hosts discussed certain parts of it on their show.
Whoopi Goldberg, the moderator of the ABC daytime talk show, continued to address Trump as "You-know-who" as she introduced the topic of his interview with Kristen Welker to the rest of the panel.
While all of the hosts shared their perspectives, Sunny Hostin, who is also a lawyer, went a bit far and claimed that the former POTUS has "diarrhea of the mouth."
Whoopi Goldberg initiates the conversation around Donald Trump’s 'Meet The Press' interview
During the latest episode, 'The View' host Whoopi Goldberg read, "You-know-who was on the new "Meet The Press" with Kristin Welker," from a cue card while chuckling and continued, "And she had some questions for you-know-who about the 2020 election, and we just wanted to share this clip."
The show then played a clip of Donald Trump’s interview with Welker, where the latter asked the ex-POTUS why he ignored the most senior lawyers in his own administration who told him that "it was over" after he lost more than 60 legal challenges.
Trump replied, "Because I didn’t respect them."
Welker then asked, "Were you calling the shots, though, Mr President, ultimately?" And he responded, "As to whether or not I believed it was rigged, it was my decision. Some people said that."
After the clip ended, Goldberg immediately stated, "Who said that? I love when people say, "some people." Who? Is it on camera? Come on, man. I mean, now's not the time."
Sunny Hostin weighs in on Donald Trump’s 'Meet The Press' remarks from a legal perspective
After Whoopi Goldberg and Sara Haines discussed Donald Trump's 'Meet The Press' interview, Sunny Hostin finally weighed in, saying, "Everybody says it in the movies. Everything you say can and will be held against you in a court of law. Dun dun. They do it in every ‘Law & Order’ they do it all the time."
She continued, "He’s just got diarrhea of the mouth, he just admitted to conspiracy, he just admitted he was the head of the conspiracy. That everyone told him to do something else and he did something because he believed in himself."
"It is crazy, his lawyers have no control over him. If god forbid I was a part of his legal team, he would be representing himself pro bono because I would not continue to do that," expressed Hostin.
