NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: 'The View' hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin, and Alyssa Farah Griffin were interrupted abruptly during their 'Hot Takes' segment to issue a scary warning on air. Around ten minutes into the episode of Friday, June 16 morning, the broadcast was cut.

As soon as moderator Joy Behar was about to discuss a particular 'Hot Topic', the live broadcast was cut off, which apparently lasted till the end of the show. The interruption not only caused viewers to miss out on that particular segment but also the presence of a beloved actor and his mother, along with other guests who were expected to be a part of the show.

What was the warning about?

The warning that cut off 'The View' was about a tornado for East Coasters. Even though the storm decreased by 11.45 am, the coverage of the warning continued until 12 pm. The warning was mainly for the Berks and Lancaster counties in Pennsylvania.

The only resort available to the audience was watching the show online since it was pre-recorded. Even though this is not the first time that the show was interrupted but it caused the viewers to miss out on Anthony Anderson and his mother's conversation with the panel. Anthony was excited to be a part of the show as he was seen cheering back at the audience who welcomed him with a loud applause.

Chaotic changes and celebration

This is not the first time, 'The View' has been interrupted while it was airing. In June, last year, the show was abruptly canceled across the country mainly because it was not the planned episode that aired. Apart from the interruptions, 'The View' had legitimate reasons to engage in celebration. In honor of co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin's birthday on Thursday, June 15, the set was subjected to some changes and Alyssa got to celebrate on-air with the rest of the panel.

Whoopi wished Alyssa a very happy birthday while Sunny, with whom she had previously engaged in a heated argument, was also present. A message and a photo were also displayed on the screen behind the table.
