While tonight's Episode 7 titled 'Swerve and Volley' sees the two of them tackle the staying overnight at each other's place conversation with their respective kids, the upcoming Episode 8 will find Wade himself becoming an unprecedented hassle in progressing their relationship.

According to TV listings, the upcoming Season 2 Episode 8 of 'The Unicorn' will air in just a short week's time next Thursday, February 11, at 9.30 pm on CBS. It's been almost a month since the show returned from its designated winter break on January 21, but viewers had enjoyed the privilege of rewatching older episodes from the debut season whilst the show stayed on hiatus from December 17, 2020.

Since its return from the break, the show has also steadily tried to incorporate the lives of Wade's closest friends — couples Forrest and Delia, and Ben and Michelle. With due nods to racism, gun violence and interpersonal relationships amid an already raging pandemic, 'The Unicorn' is one of the very few shows that hasn't fallen prey to social media criticism for focusing too hard on the sh*tstorm that was the year 2020.
The upcoming Episode 8, titled 'No Exit', picks up Wade and Shannon's relationship from where we left them in Episode 6, where the two of them are about to spend the night together at his place for the first time. Goes without saying, they are yet to enjoy this privilege at either's place yet, so it will be a special time indeed. But for all its worth, the romance might take a brief exit after Wade's little mishap in the next episode.
The official synopsis for the episode reveals: "While the friends are at an escape room for a fun evening, Wade has an embarrassing slip of the tongue that creates an uncomfortable situation for Shannon."
Let's be real, the poor man is trying, and trying hard. He is easily the most gentleman-like, personable man out of their group of three, and all he has are best intentions for Shannon in mind. What leads to this yet another awkward hassle that they must overcome? Well, we have a whole week before we can find out.
Meanwhile, here's what happens in tonight's Episode 7 titled 'Swerve and Volley': "Delia and Forrest decide to play tennis to add some camaraderie to their relationship, but instead get wildly competitive. Also, when Wade tries to teach Grace to drive, she's reluctant to learn and confesses the surprising reason why to Michelle."
