The Charles Stone III directorial movie is co-written by Danny Segal and Isaac Schamis. The movie promises to be a nonstop comedy fest with sports embedded in its core. 

Originally slated to open in theatres in October of last year, the film will now be released on the streaming platform on January 26.

What is the plot of  ‘The Underdoggs?’

The film centres on self-observed former footballer Jaycen Jennings, who maintains the delusion of being a legendary footballer even though his days are far more than over. 

Jenning's life took a sharp turn when he was ordered to coach a local school football team as part of his punishment for an accident. 

Jennings saw the opportunity as a golden chance to turn his life around, but controlling a boisterous team proved more difficult than he had anticipated.
