In the previous episode of 'The Titan Games', Dani Speegle breezily won the battle against Jaime Seeman at Mount Olympus, cementing her position as the Central Regions Titan. Just before that, Jaime had been acing the other challenges, including 'Hammer Down' and 'Resistance'. She was a runner-up in 'Hammer Down' and then made a worthy comeback in 'Resistance' against Chantae McMillan. Chantae, who had steamrolled over her opponents in the first episode as well as boxer Claressa Shields, lost her Titan title in the previous episode. This was her one chance to get it back, but she lost to Seeman. Meanwhile, Matt Chan emerged as the star of the night, after he defeated Kaleb Redden and then finally NFL player Joe Thomas at Mount Olympus. Thomas had defeated Chan by a millisecond in the first episode. Yet, Matt wasn't going to let that get him down and put up a stupendous fight at the end.

In the upcoming episode, we are going to see face-offs in the West. The synopsis reads, "The competition heads to the Western Region as new competitors push their bodies to the limit by battling opponents in unforgiving head-to-head challenges, designed by host and executive producer Dwayne Johnson. In this episode, competitors will compete in a best of three competition where the winner will move on to battle a Pro-Athlete Titan on Mt. Olympus, the consummate athletic test of speed, strength, agility and endurance. The top female competitor will face professional stuntwoman and 'American Ninja Warrior' star Jessie Graff, while the top man will advance to compete against Super Bowl champion Victor Cruz. Cari Champion and Alex Mendez serve as commentators."

McMillan spoke about her loss to MEA WorldWide (MEAWW), "It was hard to watch that competition, just because I knew the outcome and I obviously don't like losing. After I competed, I said my honest truth, I felt like I was the more athletic one in the competition and I messed up and if I didn't mess up, I would've won. It's not like track and field where you can just go back to practice and assess and add something else new in and move forward to your next competition. It's a matter of mentally preparing and knowing where you messed up and actually going into something else, completely new that you've never done before."

'The Titan Games' airs on Mondays at 8 pm on NBC.
