Apart from making us feel incredibly out of shape, 'The Titan Games' has been keeping us on edge ever since the first episode. While Chantae McMillan hit back with ferocity at her opponents in the first episode and became Titan, she lost her title to tough-as-nails Dani Speegle in the second episode. Speegle raced ahead, leaving McMillan far behind and smarting over her loss. But Speegle can't rest on her laurels for too long, she's got to beat the other participants again before making it to the Titans championship. Prior to her victory with McMillan, Speegle battled Nadi Carey and won against her, though Carey put up a tough fight during Lunar Impact, almost making it to the finish line.

NFL great Joe Thomas has steamrolled over all his opponents Matthew Chan and Kaleb Ridden and won in both episodes but he can't sit back and chill either. He has to prove himself again, as the participants get one more chance at redemption.

The synopsis for Episode 3 reads, "Reigning Titans Joe Thomas and Dani Speegle are one victory away from advancing to the Titan Games Championship but standing in their way are six top competitors from the Central Region who have one last shot at redemption. The contenders must face off in a brand-new three-way battle before advancing to a classic head-to-head competition. The last competitors standing must defeat Thomas and Speegle on Mt. Olympus to advance to the championship round. Dwayne Johnson serves as host while Cari Champion and Alex Mendez serve as commentators."

In the previous episode there were several moments that stood out. There was a remarkable sense of sportsmanship between Ridden and Matthew Hewitt during the 'Chain Linked' task. Ridden aced the task, while Hewitt struggled hard. Though Ridden finished before Hewitt, he didn't stop to celebrate, instead, he cheered on Hewitt till he got to the finish line. The other memorable moment was between Carey and Speegle during Lunar Impact. Despite Speegle almost inching toward victory, there was a newfound burst of strength from Carey who pushed back. But then, Speegle, who had the advantage of an early push, used her strength again and pushed Carey out of the competition.

'The Titan Games' airs on NBC Mondays at 8 pm.
