'The Titan Games' Season 2 Championships: Gutted by Will Sutton's defeat, fans say he'll always be a champion
Intense, that's the word for the night. It was the 'The Titan Games' championships and it was a night of power, determination, victory and heartbreak. While Will Sutton crushed Noah Palicia at Herculean Pull, the 'country strong' Titan suffered a defeat at the hands of Matt Chan at Mount Olympus. Both of them were neck to neck, but Matt raced ahead of Sutton just after the cage crawl. Sutton had been undefeated for the past few weeks during the East region challenges and he finally had to bid goodbye. Nevertheless, he earned the praise and respect of fans who were sorry to see him go. Most of them had been rooting for him.
"Proud of you @coachdubsutton #CountryStrong #AllGasNoBrakes #EasternRegionTitan Also, when else will I have a reason to tweet @TheRock #TitanGames," a fan wrote.

"Such a great show, most of it being on when there were no competitive sports. I was wrong about the pre-picked Titans. Nice to see the 'old guy' win it at the end! Can’t wait for next season. .@nbctitangames#TitanGames," a fan tweeted.

Sutton has been a force of nature on 'The Titan Games', as he had kept his position for a long time, battling all odds. In an exclusive interview with MEA WorldWide, Will said, this had been the best experience of his life. "Probably one of the best athletic experiences I've ever had in my life, just to meet so many awesome people. Go out there and test myself, test my limits to the max and you know, and in the meantime, getting to meet the greatest actor in the world right now, Dwayne Rock Johnson. It was a pretty awesome experience. I've been on national TV and you know, sometimes, I'm a little crazy in my classroom when I'm teaching, so I can imagine that if I probably did something crazy on TV. It is just going to be exposed out there, but it'll be all right," he said.
It was the night of the Central Region champions as Dani Speegle won in the Women's rounds as well. Next week, they will face off against the handpicked Titans, who have their one last shot at redemption.
'The Titan Games' airs on NBC on Mondays at 8 pm.
