The series has been created and conceptualized by the iconic ‘Doctor Who’ and ‘Sherlock’ co-creator Steven Moffat. The series is based on a novel of the same name by Audrey Niffenegger. The HBO miniseries, ever since its release, has slowly been garnering rave reviews from audiences for its riveting storyline which has a mix of both fantasy and sci-fi. They have also been talking about stellar performances by the actors in the series but the critic reviews online say a different story altogether.

‘The Time Traveler’s Wife’ has been helmed by iconic ‘Game of Thrones’ fame David Nutter. The series has been produced by Warner Bros. television and Hartswood Films. The series stars actors Rose Leslie and Theo James in the leading roles of Clare Abshire and Henry DeTamble. Besides, David Nutter also served as the executive producer of series alongside Sue Vertue, Brian Minchin and Joseph E. Iberti.
The other actors in the cast of ‘The Time Traveler’s Wife’ include Caitlin Shorey, Everleigh McDonell, Brian Altemus, Jason David, Kate Siegel, Desmin Borges, Natasha Lopez, Michael Park, Jaime Ray Newman and Taylor Richardson and several others. Plot of the series follows the intricate and delicate yet complicated love story between Clare (Rose Leslie) and Henry (Theo James) whose marriage faces a big problem: time travel.
HBO’s official statement to Deadline read, “Though HBO will not be moving forward with a second season of The Time Traveler’s Wife, it was our privilege to partner with master storytellers Steven Moffat and David Nutter. We are so grateful for their passion, hard work and care for adapting this beloved book. We also thank Theo and Rose, and the rest of our brilliant cast for their heartfelt performances, which completely captivated audiences.”
