‘The Talk’ sees pregnant Bella twins Nikki and Brie predict ‘our water is going to break on the same day’
On Tuesday's episode of the Daytime Emmy-winning CBS talk show ‘The Talk’, the co-hosts — Sharon Osbourne, Sheryl Underwood, rapper Eve, Carrie Ann Inaba and Marie Osmond — were joined by special co-hosts Nikki and Brie Bella as part of the show’s “Celebrity Siblings Week”.
The Bella Twins were a professional wrestling tag team who performed on WWE. They have since also become television personalities and even acted in films. The 36-year-old twins who are both pregnant -- they’re due only a week and a half apart -- spoke, among other things, about the pandemic that has been making news for weeks now: COVID-19, also known as Coronavirus.
Nikki told the co-hosts, “I mean, I know for Brie and I, we both were terrified. Because even early on in my pregnancy, I got Influenza B, and I never have gotten the flu. It was terrifying and it was terrible. I remember telling Brie that I would rather break my neck again than ever get the flu. And now that this is happening, I just know, just even being pregnant our systems are lower. We can catch things a lot easier. And I just encourage people, if you are sick, stay at home.”
The Bella twins also opened up about their pregnancies. “We both were definitely shocked,” said Nikki about learning she and Brie were pregnant. “There are all these rumors of IVF and all this crazy stuff. We didn’t have any of that. Brie literally, her heart was set on just having one baby. I had just found out that I had PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome); I had like no estrogen in my body. They're like you need to freeze your eggs because the day you want to get pregnant, you're going to need help.”
Nikki added that in the aftermath of learning about Brie’s pregnancy, “I found out two days later that I was pregnant.”
When Sharon Osbourne predicted on the daytime talk show, “They'll be born on the same day,” Brie responded with, “I feel like our water is going to break on the same day. I feel like we’re having twins.”
“We both got our ultrasound two days ago,” shared Nikki. “Our babies have the same profile.”
‘The Talk’ airs Monday through Friday at 11 am PT.
